I dont want you to feel like you are obligated to join. It simply seemed the easiest way to contact a large number of people. And, feel free to invite people you know who you think might want to join the cause.
This is something that I am extremely passionate about. Most if not everyone has known someone in their life that has had cancer. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length. It is a life changing experiance that unites members from all over out community. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
As a community, we are choosing to fight back. And, we would love your help. Any donation works. It all goes straight to the American Cancer Society.
We choose to relay for our friends and our family. . We have created two teams, one is called Pink Knights and the other is Circle of Change. This way, everyone is included. Support us by clicking on the link below, and donating to our team. You're not only choosing to help us reach our goal, but you're choosing to fight back for the cure.
The only requirement to participate in Relay For Life is the $10 registration/commitment fee (per person) that is due upon registration. After that, anything you can raise through individual, team, or online fundraising is graciously accepted. The goal for each team is to raise a total of $1,000. It is understood that many cant meet the $100 goal, so we will be doing many fundraisers. Even if you do not raise $100, you are still welcome to participate.
If one of us has our 100, feel free to donate to another team member. It goes to the same place. Also, if you dont feel comfortable donating online, please feel free to contact me and we can work something out.
